Our spring 2009 production will be the parody of a 1950s sci-fi B-movie, filled with pop songs from the 50s and 60s:

Annie Dress Rehearsal: Finale & Bows
Glossop Operatic & Dramatic Society has brought entertainment and pleasure to its audiences, and performance opportunities to its members through the two shows usually produced in each of the last 32 years.
We have moved out of The Victoria Hall (after it was closed by High Peak Borough Council) where our last shows were A Chorus Line and Aladdin in 2006, followed by Annie in 2007.
GODS is moving into an exciting new period and work has already begun on Little Red Riding Hood, for December 2008, which will be produced in a venue providing improved audience facilities.
Preparation for our show for spring 2009 will begin in October and we expect to announce arrangements by the end of September.
Our membership is open to all, and we welcome new members who would like to join us in any field of the production - from singing and dancing, to brewing tea and sweeping floors. There are many aspects involved in putting a show together, and you are welcome to join us in these. Please contact us if you are interested in joining us.
Situated in Glossop, to the east of Manchester and Stockport, GODS is in the North West Region of NODA so has access to all the resources of the national association supporting amateur dramatics.
