Aladdin (2006)
Aladdin is one of the all-time favourite pantomimes and will remain everyone's favourite for years to come. The story tells of Aladdin's switchback ride from poverty-stricken laundry boy to wealthy suitor of the Emperor's daughter. Robbed of his new-found wealth and his promised bride, Aladdin travels to Africa to rescue his Princess and claim her hand in marriage.
The story contains many of the well-loved characters with Aladdin's mum - Widow Twankey; his brother - the loveable idiot, Wishee Washee; the knock-about constables - Ping and Pong; the Emperor and his beautiful daughter - So-Shi; the ever-present Genie and Slave of the Ring; and one of the most complex villains in pantoland - Abanazer. With plenty of songs and dancing, this panto sends everyone home happy!
