Glossop Operatic and Dramatic SocietyDespite the absence of many members the AGM held on 15th July conducted the necessary formal business and elected the committee for the year ahead (listed below). We are very pleased to have Ken Redfern back as a co-opted member of the committee.
Lost Property:
A number of things were found in the dressing rooms and wings during the clean-up.
So if you have lost a hat, scarf, waistcoat, mirror or a single shoe (did you hop home?) please contact David Chilton on 01457 860206

Want to see a panto? You can't see your own pantomime but we have arranged for our cast to to see Aladdin at special prices. The Waterloo Pantomime and Drama Society will present Aladdin at the Cannon Burrows School in Ashton at 7:30 nightly from Tues 27th to Fri 30th December and it will be an entertaining night after the excitement of Christmas has subsided. Cast members must book their tickets through David Swanston if they want the benefit of the special prices for our members - see the flyers at rehearsals.

Spring Show: At present we have no plans for a spring show but will be considering the options at the next committee meeting. These could include using venues outside of Glossop for a traditional musical production and using local venues for different types of show, that could include small scale productions; everything will be up for consideration!
Other societies' shows are being lsited on the Our Next Shows page (or they would be if they had sent us their details...). Feel free to use our Facebook page to make up a group and share transport, etc.
