Do your Arts Award with GODS!

Arts Award is a national qualification run by Arts Council England and Trinity Guildhall which supports young people aged 11-25 to develop as artists and arts leaders.  Check it out on www.artsaward.org.uk to find more information.

Employers, universities and colleges know that Arts Award is a qualification that shows your level of commitment and progress in the arts, and in developing new skills.

Arts Award is run at three levels Bronze, Silver and Gold and you will see on the Arts Award web site that the Silver award is equivalent to a short GCSE.

If you are between 11 and 25 and you are involved in a GODS production then we could base a Bronze or Silver Arts Award around your work on the show (we hope to be able to offer Gold in the future).  We have our own Adviser, trained and qualified by Trinity Guildhall, to be your mentor to guide you through building a file of evidence of your activity, reviewing your work and advising you on presenting it for submission.

We would like to thank Glossopdale Community College for their support to us in developing Arts Awards for our members.  The college is a registered Arts Award Centre through which our programmes will be conducted, but you don’t need to be a Glossopdale student to do Arts Award through GODS.
